EOGHAN WALLS is director of the International Lancaster Writing seminar. He has previously published two books of poetry, Pigeon Songs and The Salt Harvest. He won an Eric Gregory Award in 2006, and has been shortlisted and highly commended in the Manchester Poetry Prize, The Bridport Prize and the Wigtown International Poetry Prize, among others. This is his debut novel.
